even worst...a DRUNKEN 18 yr old...parents that can't control her after fighting with her and let her get away with a car...

No one deserves to die like this. This really makes you think that tomm. may never come. I will make sure all of my friends see this for good reason.
i partly agree...and that is to say that no innocent bystander deserves to die like this. i am very glad that no one else on the road was killed...no one's family or friends...but this girl brought it upon herself, drunk or not.

Pics do not work anymore, maybe for the better. I see some crazy **** almost everyday here, lots of people speeding, making crazy lane changes.

Basically, severe head trauma. Extremely severe. Closed casket severe. I can't imagine how hard it must have been for her parents to identify her.

The Porsche appeared to be a convertible and it was upside down after the crash. It is as bad as anything I have seen on Orgish or Rotten.com.

My son and I drove past an accident in east Texas out on I30 a few years back, similar situation. Some kid was mad at his parents and stole their car (in Arizona) and apparently tried to outrun the cops in a Kia riding on a space saver spare. Lost control, crossed over into oncoming traffic and was crushed by a semi-truck. The kid was only 15. You have to wonder what is going on in those families. Bad parenting? Bad kid? Combination of both?

Indeed, you have to wonder how these parents can go on living everyday after seeing the remnants of their daughter in that state... I didn't even know her and it's still shocking to me, over 12 hours after I made a bad decision to click on those links. But now I know.

At first it was easy for me to just say "just another stupid teenager," but after seeing those pics, it became real. No one deserves this, but it happened. A tragedy... and indeed, what is the problem these days in the homes of these countries? Why are kids making such terrible decisions these days?

Maybe if the Porsche had been a manual she wouldn't have been able to leave... but what's the point in saying such things now? My thoughts with the family...

I also have a newfound respect for firefighters/paramedics/police/etc who have to deal with these things all the time. You really don't get any grasp of what actually happens from news stories of "severe trauma." I don't know how these people do it everyday...

I think in a lot of these cases it's just kids with no common sense being, well, kids. I think we probably all can think of at least one time in our lives where we did something stupid and are lucky to have come away from it. Maybe no "get drunk and drive a Porsche 100mph" stupid, but you know what I mean.

In any event, at first I was all "serves her right" when I heard about this, but it really is sad for everyone involved. God, can you imagine what went through the mind of the civic driver?

Reminds me of watching those "Highway of Death" videos produced in the 1960's while in Drivers Ed back in high school. Sort of like a scared straight message.

I'm really conflicted on this one. I feel sorry for her parents for raising such a stupid girl and I hope for their sakes they weren't the problem. This girl was a legal adult who stole her dad's car and wrecked-she was totally irresponsible. I hope her friends learn from her mistakes.

Weren't all those pics already linked in the originally linked thread? I don't really want to confirm or disprove that myself; at any rate, I'm not sure re-linking the pictures within the thread was really necessary.

But the warnings are there, so to each his/her own.
