Happy Thanksgiving/Turkey Day
Ive always been a "Happy Thanksgiving" kind of guy, as oposed to Day.
To all I have met from Autopia this past year, be it from PM, phone, in person, or email,....
Have a SAFE, and happy Thanksgiving this holiday weekend.
I will finally, (after 23 years of going here, and going there) be home with my lovely and quite beautiful wife of 20 years, and 3 beautiful children, all safe and sound. I have plenty to be thankful for this time of year!
Im the cook around my house. Ive already made some Holiday bread (It's actually made of pitted plums, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. My mom use to call it Prune bread. My kids thought it was disgusting until I changed it to Holiday bread, now they cant wait for the holidays).
I'll be making fudge with my 13 yr old daugher, turkey and ham, yams, taters, some veggies, stuffing with Italian sausage, beef, potatoes, and raisins. You know, "stuffin" stuff. And of course a pie or two....
We'll feast, and I'll wonder why I ate so much, sit and watch some football, then get up (with some help) and do it all over again. Seems traditional in my home, eat until ya puke. Then ya puke and blame it on the chef......
Thank goodness for Alka-Seltzer
I never get a break..............

Re: Happy Thanksgiving/Turkey Day
My wife already told me, "No internet' and no working Thursday!"
So, its in my best interest to stay away from here tomorrow. I did just get a request to do an Audi (via email). I have a client who owned a Carerra 4, and he has obviously traded it in on something new! Maybe a RS4? hmmmm.......I cant wait to see it!

Re: Happy Thanksgiving/Turkey Day
Hope yall have a great Turkey day!
Unfortunetly I found out my father has cancer/heart problems today, so he will be gone for Thanksgiving, probably just be having pizza myself. Oh well, dont mean to bring the mood down.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving/Turkey Day
All the best to you too Patrick. It sounds like you'll have a perfect Thanksgiving with family, food, and football. A holy trinity of sorts.
We had our Thanksgiving a month ago so I'm extending a bit of a warning though. I ate so much turkey that those little whiskers on my neck turned into pin feathers. They were a real bear to shave, so you be careful now.
Enjoy,
-John C.
