I highly recommend you check out a band called Ignite. I just recently found them and they are unbeleivably awesome. What I am kicking myself about is that they have been in my area (orange county Ca.) as long as I have and I never found out about them until just a couple months ago.
Anyone got any other secret little punk rock gems?
