I think he said somewhere that he would wash them outside and then pull them in to dry and do the rest of the detail.

Re: New detailing bay! (In progress)

Ok guys I've been busy with Christmas holidays etc and cleaning up the bay as well. It was a HUGE mess (and still is by my standards). But I've moved some of my stuff in, put it on shelves and made some customs labels for everything as well. Also got a few banners made for decoration. It's not all done yet, but you get the idea.

Got the hot and cold water bibs hooked up, so I'll finally get to hook my foamgun up to the hot water tap this weekend and give it a try

Here are the pics!

I still have more products and tools to make their way over there, but it's most of it for the time being. Also it may LOOK like there is no order to it there, but believe me there is. Ever label you see there is organized by product type. I could get some dividers to make it a little neater tho...

Sry bout the crappy quality pics...New camera is on the way soon!

Another side note...If you're looking for sturdy, affordable shelving...I HIGHLY reccomend the "gorrilla shelving" at Costo. These are all finished steel shelves, VERY sturdy and touch. The finish is nice too. Best of all...they were only 60 bux!!!

Re: New detailing bay! (In progress)

You sure have stuff nice and organized

You might want to get a "Y" connector hose to combine the hot and cold faucets. You could then split it again after the "Y" to have one hose for the foamgun and one for the rinse hose; two hoses will, *IMO* pay for themselves via the convenience.
