Throttle body spacer

I was on Ebay pricing stuff for my auctions and saw this. What are peoples take on these? For those of you who don't know this is a spacer which increases the distance the air/fuel mixture goes hypothetically making the combustion process more effeicient. They claim 10HP and increased gas mileage, I'm kinda thinking it might be just like the tornado thing.

If you could get an extra 10HP/more mileage from that thing, don't you think the mfr. would put it on at the factory?

They tend to work with carburetors.

They work good with carbs and throttle body engines the best. Very popular with the 4.3L TBI GM crowd. Don't expect 10 ponies though. But, for the price they usually sell for $60 or so, it is good bang for the buck.

Waste of money IMO. Up there with grounding kits and crap like that.

You won't pick up horse power but you will pick up a nifty whistle when you step on it.
