QD with windex

i was sitting in the parking lot earlier with waiting for my friend..

and this guy in a ford expedition drove up .. parked.. and took out a bottle of windex and rag.. he started to spray the windows.. and i thought that was normal..

and then he started to spray more and more onto the paint.. im thinking.. dam that overspray is getting kinda far buddy.. then he took out a roll of those cheap public bathroom paper towels.. and started scrubing his car with it!!!! i cringed.. i wanted to smack him..

anyways.. he proceded to detail the whole car.. spraying tons of windex and wiping with the el cheapo paper towels.. very detailed too.. nooks and crannys and all!! lol

It isn't that they don't care...they just don't know. Tons of people really care about their cars and the paint and they think cleaning it with a rag that they leave on the ground is fine. They just are not as edjumacated on the whole detailing thing as we are.

i believe you should have used quotes around the word detail...hehehe


i agree with danase...some people have good intentions (like me prior to finding Autopia)...they just don't know better. it also helps that they don't use halogen lights to look at their paint too. hehe

Windex has ammonia in it .Ammonia removes wax.
