Well, in an effort to save money with skyrocketing gas prices, I bought a great little 2003 Toyota Tacoma back in June. I now have 4 cars (Expedition, Dodge Cuad cab, Ford Taurus, and the Taco) ...and yes, insurance is killing me, nearly 3k a year with a teenage driver. Anyway, after driving the taco for the last several months, im putting it up for sale. Theres nothing like a large truck to haul my butt and boxes and equipment, back and forth. i just couldnt get use to driving the taco, even after owning a 1981 Toy P/U for 10 years. After having the Dodge for 3 years now, theres just no way I can part with its power, room, comfort, sound system (Pioneer/Sony/ XM), and safety. All i have ever dumped into the Dodge has been ........brakes. Its been a great truck with about 70k on it now (knocking on wood). Gas prices are easing which makes filling up a little better, plus I can tow my travel trailer with it I want to, although the Expedition hauls better with the larger 5.4l vs 5.2 in the Dodge. It must be the gearing............. anyway, out with the new... and in with the old.........
Oh not to mention, i bought the Taco for 10k and I hope to sell it for 12k !
I fig'd I'd spend the 2k on gas.............
