Comcast Rips off Trunk Monkey!

Have you guys seen the new Comcast HSI commercial where the guy is surfing the net and the Comcast/McAfee virus tools combat the web attackers...depicted as a monkey that comes out of a "firewall" case on the wall and bashes them in the head with a sledgehammer? Pretty funny, even if Comcast sucks ( ) and it's a TrunkMonkey ripoff.

Monkey = instant funny commercials. It's just comedy logic.

It's up there with words like cheese or live chickens.

I've got a client that buys calendars every year to give to their customers. This is a very serious, high-end company that makes (expensive) tool parts. Every year, they buy this calendar called 'Monkey Business' that shows photos of monkeys in offices with captions saying something funny. I don't get it, but they love them. A few years ago, the client called me and said 'Scott, we just got out calendars, and the monkeys aren't very funny this year'. I was at a loss as to how to respond to that one.
