O M G!!!

The QX and the Caprice take the cake for me. If I spent 20k on wheels/tires, I'd want to advertise it, too.

Man I have to get there and see these in person!

That is seriously the stupidest thing I have ever seen someone do to a car. Wow, to each his own but that looks like crap. When your wheels are three times the size of your wheel wells and you make no effort to try to correct them so it at least looks somewhat normal. I have no idea why people insist on spending so much money on wheels but they never put any thought into how it will actually look on THEIR car. I understand that these cars are lifted to fit the biggest wheel they can find...but...ok, I am just ranting now!

We should make a whole thread with those style vehicles...for some reason, they have grown on me.

I think the main thing is that the owner's put such time, effort, and dedication into making these things...I can appreciate that...

Seriously, I see at least 1-2 cars like this a week in town, depending on where I'm at. Quite stupid, and pointless, and tasteless, and...but, you know.

G35 your right they do put a lot of money into these cars BUT they only do the lift and wheels. They dont put any money into making the rest of the car flow with a style. That F150 you posted actually looks decent because the wheels mimic the wheel wells of the truck...almost like it was designed to fit those wheels. The rest of them...especially the McDonalds car look like they need to be crushed.

Memphis is so unique, huh?

Sean, you really must come experience our southern charm in person some time.

That is the trend in the ATL as well. I used to go see a fabricator who worked on Impalas on the side, and one car in his lot was an old Cutlass that he was doing some fab work (cutting, bending and busting ) to make the gaudy chrome wheels fit.

As you probably noticed...a lot of those cars are Caprices and Impalas. There are a gazillion threads about these cars over on the SS forum. Personally, the rides make me throw up in my mouth. I dont care HOW MUCH money they put into them, they still look goofy.
