Absolutely hideous. I don't get any modification that doesn't make a car quicker or handle better. Huge wheels like that kill acceleration, mess up the handling, greatly reduce braking ability and increase bearing wear. If people want to waste their money like that, whatever makes them happy but I still think it looks horrible.

True, but it's not like an 86 Monte Carlo is the sportiest of cars to begin with. I do agree that it has got to take its toll on braking ability and handling, which is a safety issue to everyone on the road.

I think you should go with some 33's on your G Or better yet, stagger it with some 33x12s on back, 33x8 on front.

Fortunately that stuff isn't legal in NJ anymore. Years ago we used to have the radically lifted pickups with the Pinto's and Chevette's on top...with the ladder to climb up there.

Some rednecks in the south have one word for that. I cant however, and I try to refrain from saying that word.

The older chevy truck and the qx56 were kinda cool, I think?

Living up in NY I had never seen these before until a few days ago on Pimp My Ride. They're gaudy, but they're still a really cool and unique idea. The McDonalds thing is a little...errr...out there, but the idea of a "monster car" is almost as radical and cool ad the idea of a "pickup car" (El Camino/Ranchero). Seeing an Impala SS lifted like that is crazy (in a good way), but I think they look a lot better lowered.
