Huge wheels like that kill acceleration, mess up the handling, greatly reduce braking ability and increase bearing wear. If people want to waste their money like that, whatever makes them happy but I still think it looks horrible. | |

I do agree that it has got to take its toll on braking ability and handling, which is a safety issue to everyone on the road.

They're gaudy, but they're still a really cool and unique idea. The McDonalds thing is a little...errr...out there, but the idea of a "monster car" is almost as radical and cool ad the idea of a "pickup car" (El Camino/Ranchero). Seeing an Impala SS lifted like that is crazy (in a good way), but I think they look a lot better lowered. | |
