Pet Peeve!!!!!

Today I went to the annual Field of Dreams Car Show in Kelowna BC. While there, I noticed a red Ford F150 hooked up to a black enclosed trailer. After reading the signs on the trailer, I realized that the individual was advertising his business as a "detailer". So, I wanted a better look at his truck to see what his work was like. There were swirls everywhere! Here is a guy advertising his detailing business at a large car show with his own truck looking mediocre!

While I understand that a person could be busy and not have time to detail their own personal vehicles, I would expect their vehicles to be in top condition if you are advertising your "detailing" business while at the car show!!!

Rant over!

Tim

Think of it as a public service. He’s letting the world know he’s a lousy detailer. It’s a “truth in advertising” thing.

Hey PC,

"It’s a “truth in advertising” thing. " Now that is hilarious!!!

Hey Patirick,

I thought for a moment that maybe I was being a little too harsh. But then again, people should expect their cars to be professional detailed and not end up looking no better than what Joe Blow can do without any detailing experience. Sure the truck was shiny. But it was full of swirls and the paint was lacking depth and richness. You are right, the guy needs to become an Autopia member!

I do not normally comment on stuff like this, but that really irked me.

You dress like a bum and you get treated like a bum.
