Meteor showers are absolutely amazing. I watched the last one out of my uncles telescope and I was in awe.

Definitely not missing this one either.

Is it still happening? What time CT would be good to catch this event?

Greg

My son and I saw a huge (relatively) meteor a few weeks ago, heading east to west as we were facing the south. Just a massive blue streak that ended with a cluster of yellow/orange light bursts. Incredible!

I saw a beautiful one last night, kind of by accident. I was preparing myself for a nice show before I left home, I went to take the pooch for a walk, and wallah..from north to south, bright blue, fading to a white dusting. I actually thought it was a firework or something. I tried to get some time in before the moon came out, but I didnt see anything. Im kind of dissapointed in this yrs show!
