As I watched the news this afternoon, I was reminded that the brave men and women serving our country in the Armed Forces are enduring temperatures in Iraq from 111-114 degrees, plus being covered in clothing and gear.
Next time the heat here crosses your mind, send a special thought, prayer, thank you, etc. to our folks overseas.

A few weeks ago it was 111* here in Northern Ca and I was working in it and people thought I was crazy but I was ok because of the lose clothing I had on. Drink lots of water and if you get to warm run cold water on your hands neck, the trick is don't get hot, when you get warm cool off when you get hot might be to late? It’s all common sense.
Believe me the Solders over there are having fun not all the time but it can be hell too, that is war and war is insanity. | |

And that they will be fine in the heat so there is no need to give thanks/prayers and that we can be just as tough as they are?
If so...wow | |

Also:
Lose = to misplace something
Loose = not tight
Solder = like soldering a wiring connection
Soldier = someone in the armed forces

God Bless them.  | |
