At that point, you know it is all about generating revenue and not safety. Amazing that people can run red lights with impunity or drive 20 below the limit and reply to text messages but you go 10 over you have to pay. | |

That's good to know. I still get up that direction every once in a while. I remember the rule use to be that no matter what, you ALWAYS went the speed limit through Tulia.

Speed traps are ridiculous and really do nothing to foster safety or better driving. I think that's proven. I see cars smoking to high heaven driving right past cops not getting pulled over. I see cars that are barely roadworthy on a daily basis. Let's not even get into all the uninsured drivers in this state (Texas) that cost those of us that pay our premiums $1 BILLION dollars a year.
