Ortiz Tuna

Well, I just bought my brother some darn expensive tuna for his birthday. I bought it based off a recommendation, although I had never had it myself. Just wanted to see if anyone in Autopia land has tried it before and what you thought.

It's Ortiz ventresca tuna and costs $15 for a 4 oz can! In retrospect, maybe I should've bought him a couple tins of Bumble Bee and bought some more QD for myself!

Your brother is a tuna snob?

This is the most random thread ever. How good can any "elitist" tuna in a friggin can really be?

My guess is the fat content of the tuna may be higher, giving it a richer texture and more flavor.

For luxury fish, I'm a big fan of smoked salmon. Great stuff!
