Join Date: May 2006 Location: Grand Rapids, MI Posts: 80 | Cheerleader Car Washes... I see these about 1 mile from my house at least once a month. This weekend my friend and I were in my Vette and suggested we go there, and I said no because I didn't want my paint scratched up.

I wouldn't go to thru one of those washes, after seeing what the wash bucket/towels look like!!  You know they aren't thinking about marring my paint. What I have done before was to throw them a small donation, just for. They looked a bit confused as I declined the wash, that I was giving them money for. | |

Ya kill two birds with one stone................The windows become amazingly clean on the outside, and your going to polish the car anyway, so buff out any added stuff! And its all for ....ahem..., a worthy cause.
