I tried to educate them on proper ways of washing to diminish the possibilities of damage, but it often went to no avail. They never did touch my Navigator, except for one time, my son's senior class was doing a car wash and one of the boys picked up the old bucket of dirty soap at the end of the day and threw it all over my vehicle. My wife, who was down there helping, and son just stared in disbelief as they knew how I took care of our vehicles.

The guy with the Mustang decides to let the nuns wash his car when one of the nuns shows him they have Nanowax, lol. The Barbies look like they don't have a clue.

I feel bad driving by especially when little kids are out yelling and pointing to the car wash for a good charity cause. It is one of the very rare occasions where I feel *bad* about being a perfectionist with my vehicle

So I said "let's support my old alma mater," and stopped. What a mistake!!! And this was before I was OCD. The kids screwed around and bent my antenna and didn't even attempt to clean the car. That was the last time I ever used a charity car wash!!!
