I just saw a crime against humanity

I spent the day at the BMW Performance Driving Center and there are hundreds of vehichles of every type of BMW there. They have dozens of X5s, X3s, 3 Series and Z4s. Along with about 10 M6s, 15 M5s, 12 Z4 M and probally 20 M3s, and 2 Z8s all being taken care of by a single car wash. No only is it not a touch-free car wash, but after it gets clean off they drive it out to the waiting area and let it air dry in the sun. Waterspots everywhere on all the cars and scratches everwhere. They were all "clean", but not by autopia standards. So hard to watch 80-100K dollar cars going through being destroyed and not being able to do anything.

At the NYC Car show they were using paper towels and Windex on the M3, It was like that commercial from the 70's with the Indian crying about Litter.

I was shocked, I mentioned it to the Mgr, he looked at me like I was crazy, I showed him my key and let him know he would never sell me my next BMW.

Yeah they were using paper towels, windex, and dirty dusters to clean everything there. I kept marveling at how every car at that show was covered in swirls.

I was allowed to turn the key on a 7 series, I had to laugh, it had 3 miles on it and my BMW ( not a 7 thats for sure) with 66K miles looked better and I mean a LOT better, probably will at 166K too. To say this particular car was unacceptable to anyone but Mr Magoo would be an understatement. NYC Taxi's waiting outside had less paint damage

That show is an absolute horror for the detailer, I always assumed they would have some reps from car product companies, I met a Megs rep, honestly he was the most uninformed person I have ever met in my life about what his company actually does and produces.

Total waste of time/money, never again
