Holy Turbo God.

Wow, this probably biggest turbo I had seen. I wanted to know, how many thousand of RPM needs to spool this sucker up?

That is just plain stupid. Idiots are lucky they didn't blow something up.

I dunno. I'm shocked they could get it to light. I know on our trucks, about 2100RPM is where they start to build boost quick.

pretty useless. you dont want to car that makes 300 hp below 5-6000 rpm and then all of a sudden hit 1200+ hp above that. thats why that car would probably be stuck running double digits at a track and trap at 150mph, like most supras.

Kind of cool as an academic exericize, but functionally useless. You could literally see and hear when the turbo kicked in, the whole car leaped on the blocks. Pretty sure in a "real" car/situation if you did that too many times you'd shock the drive train and snap a U joint or shaft or who knows what else.

Besides, how could you drive the freakin thing. You'd need a foot tall bump in the hood just so it would close, and you couldn't even see out that half of the windshield. Try making a right turn in that baby....
