Did he have anything done to his car prior to the testing they did? 455hp stock seems pretty stout, seems like they are typically in the 430-440 range. Those cars sure have a lot of bang out of the box, and still with a lot of easy potential!
Sal's Z actually dyno'd ~470 rwhp bone stock at East Coast Superchargers. In the article, it went from 460 something to 480 with no mods beyond tuning (on SLP's dyno).

Why have I always pictured Sal as some crotchety old man that remined me of Albert Einstein in a lab mixing up chemicals? Funny how we picture people we don't know.

Ain't that the truth! Some years ago I had a business contact that I would talk to almost every day on the phone. After a couple years I met him, and he was completely different than I imagined...I never thought of him the same way after. And I also pictured Sal much differently.

Yeah, me too! I talked to him on the phone recently, and I got the impression that he was probably in his late fifties. He looks much different (and younger) than I expected!

Perhaps he crosslinks his skin with ZFX? Hmm...maybe he is about to come out with a line of products to keep your body in "showroom" condition...

Well, if he does, I'll decide if I'm interested in trying them in the near future; first, I'll be trying Z-2 PRO and ZFX for the FIRST TIME - for any Zaino product - (should get here within a week)! I can't wait!

I read in the article he was waxing that new Z06 with NuFinish after he broke the dyno at 1200 hp at the wheels on a stock Z06 from the factory!
