What kind of car is this?

We are trying to figure it out on another forum and it is driving me nuts!

You're killing me. The shape is reminiscent of many cars from the 70's...but the tailight position and the fender vent and flares knocks all of them out.

I doubt it's American. I am leaning towards something European. If it is American the only thing that would come close would be some kind of AMC vehicle. But with the window framing that small, and the tail lights that low I am really leaning towards something European.

The Torino was the Starsky and Hutch car. I am pretty sure the Torino isn't it.

Yeah, I already checked it against Javelins, Matadors...I haven't enlarged the picture, but are we sure that is even a US junkyard? Could be a foreign car never imported here.

Reminds me of a Lambo Espanada, but the glass doesn't come back far enough.
