Autopia "Gear"

I was wondering if, like many other communities, someone was interested in putting together some autopia gear (with David's permission, of course - or maybe David & David could make them themselves if there was enough interest). I was thinking at least some static window stickers would be cool (static, not actual stickers, of course!!).

I am doing a little detailing demonstration this weekend and David O. has been kind enough to supply me with some Autopia-related giveaways, including two of these never-before-seen HATS! I didn't even know they were coming, but who here wouldn't want one!?

Any other thoughts for community gear? Aprons? Bumper stickers? (for caddys and buckets, never for the car of course!) T-shirts?

Im not a big fan of hats...But some nice black or white polos with simply Autopia on the front and the little logo (road with tree) in color would be nice

I like the idea of the static stickers as well for vehicles

I wouldnt even mind a Poster

Last time I seen a thread like this the gear looked too...not my style. I dont like the idea of denim dress shirts with logos, or hats with racing stripes or flames. I think the more professional looking the better - sometimes simplicity is better

I would for sure order one of everything I just mentioned if not more - I think it would be a great way for Autopia to raise some money for allowing us to use this great resource on a daily basis

I don't have time now to search for it, but DavidB DID have a thread where he voiced his intention to have logo gear and solicited feedback as to the type, etc. I would say it was about 6 months ago.

Here is the thread: http://autopia.org/forum/showthread....light=logo+hat

I dont know why people would want long denim shirts/fleece vest for spring/summer detailing? In this thread the idea of racing stripes/flags is brought up for spring 2006 gear

I like the idea. I suppose our community here doesn't have a large enough female population to warrant ladies' shirts? I wouldn't mind some vinyl graphics for my track car, either.

I am a big fan of license plate frames....something sleek, black metal or silver, with the autopia name on it.

A black polo with the logo would be very nice, I'd rock it everywhere...

License plate frames would be cool too. I remember Sean asking David about them a while ago and he said he needed at least 50 orders for it to be worth it. I believe that request kinda faded out. I'd still be up for one though, I have a CRSX on my back, but can use an Autopia one for the front. Right now I still got the dealer's license plate on the front...
