good to see they are going strong ( pun intended ) they have been around for a long time. I think my issue could have been a fluke. the replacement they sent me was fine for a few years. I then changed to a different maunfacturer for better feel. wonder how many stick's they have sold since they came out ?

Yep, both of my salmon rods are medium-action Ugly Stiks.

Well I guess you could but I would not take the chance. I had to learn to take better care of my equipment when I started using Fenwick rods. I think I also did not use light enough line. once I started to learn how to backreel and use the flex of the rod, as they say the fish were history lol!
