There are several groundwater-fed ditches that drain a wetland just south of my apartment, and there are tons of brown trout in there. The season just opened last weekend actually. Plus they stocked rainbows in two local lakes around here. I do plan to take some wax worms down to those places as well. I have 1000, so I won't run out anytime soon.
But come on, catching 6-8" bluegills on an ultralight rod while floating around on the calm lake, overcast skies, light winds, temps in the high 60s...I love it.

It's my ultralight Ugly Stik that I bought in Upper Michigan many years ago because I broke my other ultralight there when we were on vacation. I've caught some giant fish on that tiny rod and never had a problem with it. I haven't shut a door on it yet or stepped on it while it lies on the stairs like they show in the commercial.
