RC Plane guys, check this out! --> AeroAce

I admit, I know next to nothing about RC planes, but I'm trying to get into the hobby a little more. After reading a few (very long) threads on a couple RC message boards, I picked up the AirHogs AeroAce. I must say this thing is a blast for only $30!! Virtually indestructable and it's a pusher so no real chance to damage the small props. After about 2 minutes of quick learning, I was flying all over the place. Even the experienced RC guys with significant plane experience and much more expensive planes are raving about this little guy. Check it out if you want a very cheap, and extremely fun way to enter the hobby, also with little chance of damaging the plane.

Here's a couple of threads talking about it "briefly:"

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_33..._1/key_/tm.htm

And, here is the website for the product:
http://www.airhogs.com/airhogsProduct.jsp?key=178

I got mine at Target for $30! Supposedly WalMart and other large toy store chains carry them. Makes a great beginner plane!

Happy flying!

Mike

I wish I had the room to use something like that. LOL I know within 5 minutes I will be on a ladder on my neighbors roof trying to get it down.

Haha, I know what you mean...I've already fished mine out of a tree, twice.

Can't wait to go to the local park...wide open skies!

I have one, and it is great. I've been in R/C for many years and this is the real deal. Just steering and throttle, but it is a great start in the hobby.

I fly it for co-workers and one of them bought one immediately. Not only was he flying that night, but his 6-year old son kept it in the air for 10 minutes! This would never have happened with old-school R/C stuff. It used to take many hours to master flight with heavy, larger gas planes.

This type of plane has become a great beginners trainer. A very good way to get your feet wet in the hobby. After 2 decades of building and flying some very elaborate ships, Its nice to sit back and fly some of these.
