Day 1 with the XTI, and its pretty amazing. Here is a pic with everything on auto. Looking forward to taking some pics this weekend(lots of learning for me). My tomaters have been kickin butt since June

Awesome pics Gary, really like the praying mantis! I was also thinking about getting the Xti Canon, I was wondering if the lens are you using is the "kit" lens it comes with or did you invest in a different lens?

I need to take pics of something that isn't cars. Gary, that preying mantis shot is awesome, especially with the kit lens!

I am totally with you. Liz sifts through all of my pictures (finds the good ones to frame) and she always bickers how it's a 90/10 mix of cars to family photos .
