Patrick, that's purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria) in your pic, an exotic invasive species of wetland areas. It's a pretty plant, but the best thing to do with it is pull it out of the ground before it completely takes over the wetland. Wow that is a pic that can really bring out some emotions. can't say much other than let us never foget that day  . thanks for sharing that one. had a friend lose his dad that day and can not imagine what he goes through on 9-11. | |
