I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT. Hopefully newer models will come out before May to drive the prices down on current bodies, I know thats what happened when I get my Rebel XT. I've heard favorable things about the Nikon D80; I think if your going the dSLR route either Canon or Nikon are your best bet for such a wide variety of lenses and accessories. Once you do get a dSLR remember not to cheap out on good glass, theres a huge difference in image quality with cheap glass and expensive glass. | |

I plan on getting the 18-200 mm F/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF DX VR Lens (about $749)when and if I should go with the D80. I heard that this lens is very versatile and has great qualities. I might consider the new XTi...just waiting for some more reviews. There are a few good ones out there. Definetly not cheap! lol
