I must say I am impressed with my fellow citizens. With gas price north of $3, these montrous suvs still have great appeals. Man, I must be too poor. On the credit card statement, I paid about $400 for my gas last year. IMO, that's $300 too much. |
$400 for one year of gas??!?, you either drive 10 miles a week or have a car that gets 60 mpg
Personally we have a couple cars and suv's, all V8's. Even on our trucks, doesn't really bother me. My Ex-GF had a manual trans Civic, about the same amount of driving, she would save maybe 1K per year over what I pay for gas on my V8 suv. Not a big difference, and plus I actually use mine for towing, carrying etc. Now if your making like mimum wage or have a low salary and stretched yourself to buy like an Escalade or soemthing...umm, need to get your priorities straight LOL. Don't buy a truck if you can't afford the gas, yet people do lol.
As for the ones in question. X5 drives good but is pretty cramped and almost useless for cargo space (X3 actually has slightly more interior room). Rover Sport, buddy at office has one, great truck, gotta love that leather smell. Escalade, gas mileage is actually pretty good for a heavy vehicle with the LS2. Finally has a nice interior, very smooth, and plenty of space and comfort.
