DVD Decoder

So I install a new Pioneer DVD drive in a Dell desktop, close the case up and reboot, WHOOPS the computer cannot read "secondary 0 drive, secondary 1 drive" blah blah blah. I take it apart and have to remove the new DVD drive and set the jumper into secondary because it was set on master. Reboot the system, install the useless Nero software included (wants me to upgrade for $49.99 in order to play DVDs!).

After about two hours of trying to find a free DVD decoder, I gave up. Everyone that I downloaded was allegedly free but all expired in 30 days blah blah blah.

Anyone know where I can get a free one that WORKS? PM me if it goes against forum rules. I greatly appreciate it and I'm sure my headache will too!

Anyone of these should work:

1.

2.

3.

Free-Codecs.com is a good place to go for all your codec needs.
