I'd buy this:
I just find these things so amazing. Callaway sure knows how to make beautiful modifications. The intercooler shroud is gorgeous. There's a stock-bodied one they made out there somewhere, that's the one I'd really want.
Just thought I'd post it up in case anyone else ever found them as lovely as I do.

I think it's pretty cool, though I'd rather have the sleeper standard-bodied one they made. Quote: |

Originally Posted by truzoom Were the windows purposely chopped down? Or is that just a show thing and an example pic? | That's what makes it a Speedster. The chopped top and windows. They were much pricier than a regular Callaway or Aerobody. It first was just a "Speedster", a Callaway Twin Turbo with the chopped top. They were like $150k I think, compared to maybe $90k for a loaded up Callaway Twin-Turbo with an aerobody. I believe they made around 11 of those.
Then the "Super Speedster" was sort of the ultimate. Callaway made two of them, the one seen here and one with a LeMans body (and one regular twin-turbo ZR-1). It was a twin-turbo ZR-1 that made around 750hp (vs. 450hp for the Speedster). If I recall right, these were closer to a quarter million. They were each pretty unique. The regular bodied one was the real scorcher, though. With an adjustable boost controller, it could make about 1,100hp on 100 octane gasoline. I'll try to find a picture. I believe it was blue and looks stock except for the wheels and the holes in the hood for the intercooler.
