But it's just a Volvo, right?

All I can say is WOW!

And a RWD conversion too. Pretty cool.

That's a 7xx Volvo right? I think they were RWD out the box. The 8xx's were the front drivers IIRC.

Some quick research and you're right, I'm wrong. And here I always thought that Volvo, like Saab, just built FWD cars.

I'd be scared to race that car even if I had something to keep up. Did you see how squirrelly the car got on the straightaway?? The back end was shifting all over the place.

I've never seen anyone set up their own "tree" in the middle of the street for a street race... Instead of 5 minutes of him drifting figure 8's around that truck parking lot, I'd have rather seen him pay the $15 and take it to a dragstrip. I wonder what the car runs?

Bob, I'd LOVE to see that thing on a track somewhere! I remember the first time I went to a pay and run event at Pomona drag strip and this guy had an old raggedy MBZ SEL 6xx something or another with faded paint and no hood. People were laughing and pointing all the way through his 13.xx run. It was PURE entertainment!
