I entered this photo in a campus-wide photo contest. The voting is tomorrow, with cash prizes involved.

Well I didn't win anything...not even third place. I was competing against about 20 entries in my category, most of which were 8x10 pictures. I took mine with a 2MP camera, so I printed it as a 3.5x5 on some Kodak photo paper, and it turned out quite nice at that size. Apparently it wasn't nice enough. Ah well...

Yeah I've got a few spots around here for pictures of hawks and bald eagles. I'm glad I've got a 5.0MP camera now.

make sure you post some of the cool pics you get. we have a few places in my area where you can get a peek at some bald eagles. they are huge when you see them in person. they also are neat to watch as they are swooping in on some prey.

Yeah it's pretty neat when you get to watch a bald eagle soar right above you in the kayak. I'd love to see one grab a fish in front of me.

Wow that must be cool to be almost water level when the bald Eagle make is move. they are a sight to see for sure. I am happy that they have made a nice comeback in our area. I would love to see an action shot if you ever have the oppurtunity to get one. thanks again for you pics, they are very peaceful .
