Balancing a nickel

One of my fellow owners filmed a nickel balancing on his running motor. Just thought someone else might think it was neat:

If you knew how easily the LT5 finish gets stained, you'd know anyone would be hesitant to put the nickel on there, let alone some glue!

The Corvette team demonstrated the nickel trick to the press when the ZR-1 debuted. Apparently, according to The Heart of the Beast, one of the guys in charge was looking at the motor running on a test stand and decided to pull a nickel out of his pocket and balance it on the plenum. One of the journalists asked if it could be done on a motor in a car, so he said "sure" and went outside and tried it.
