Is there anything more irritating than this? You work so hard to get the things that you want and then some lowlife comes by and just try to take it from you...

I know all the sorrys don't really help, but I'm going to say it anyways. I've been in your position before...I've had a vehicle stolen...and my current one broken into a couple times. Just makes you want to punch something!

Thieves are among the lowest of the low. I had a car broken into once, interior destroyed to remove stereo components. Such a crappy thing to experience, and makes you so angry. Sorry to hear about it.

Its been -50oC here, so no I don't have any pictures. The door is already off the truck and being refinished. Interior panel was already ordered, and is waiting to be put on. Windsheild was done, rear glass is only cracked really, not as bad as I thought.

Ignition is at the dealership, where the truck will be towed to once the door is done. And headgasket will also be done there as well.

Yes, it is a rental thank god. Still is faster than my blazer though.

Got the rental for my dad, which offered me the buick or his works Murano. He said he doesn't mind. If I do infact get the truck back, my dad is buying it from me, and trading it in, in about a month. I'll find anouther car in the mean time. I don't want the truck anymore.

Sorry to hear about that. Theives suck, they are the lowest of the low! Ive been through, I had a car stolen out of a 7-11 parking lot while I was inside! Police found it about 6 hours later......................... ON FIRE! Hope you get a new ride out of the deal at least.

Lightning, just out of curiosity, did you leave the car running outside? I see people do that all the time, and always wondered if any got stolen that way. (My friend says someone she works with actually got into the wrong (similar) vehicle and drove several blocks away before she realized it

Ummm, well........... Actually it was about 2:30am and a friend and I were coming home from the bar. We stopped at the 7-11, he was supposed to stay in the car. It was winter so I left it running and went inside. A minute later the "brain surgeon" comes in the store but left it running and unlocked. So I dont claim responsibility since I didnt leave it unattended, but to answer your question, yes they do get stolen!

My dad had his 2005 F250 stolen from his driveway, they recovered it burnt, they believe it was used in a crime then torched. He's happy with his 2006 and it's in the garage now.

Have fun shopping for a new car.
