The Wallstreet Journal and English...

I do not lie. This morning I was listening to the radio and the fantastic lady said, ".....he should have went...."

then a few thoughts later she said,

"they should have came here, too"

I'm sure I am the only person in Buffalo that laughed at this.

Bad grammar and spelling is one of my pet peeves. I keep it to myself though because I think people think those of us who find it irritating think we're so much better than others. It's not that for me at all, I just want to kill people who say things like "supposebly".
