Consider the fact that speed of sound under water is 5 times faster than in the air!

My brother always tells me of these long runs to their spots. sometimes they are 50 or 60 miles away from the launch ramp. when they get close to their spot they would come of plane and go in with the quiet trolling motor. word to the wise when going that fast... keep your mouth closed  | |

You and me both. they looks great ripping up the water with a big roostertail. they also sound pretty cool when they are coming towards you from a distance. now if I could only get my SUV to sound like that ha ha ha ha ha | |
