Keep in mind, the ENTIRE project was DIY. The only thing that was hired work was carpet installation. I did all electrical, framing, drywall, spackle/texturing, ceramic tile, paint, etc. So keep that in mind...I was learning on the fly most of the time, so don't be too harsh.

Any questions...I'll be sure to keep up with the thread this time to get them answered quicky.

I would pay you to do one for me if I could, thats awesome.

That is awesome. You have a gift if you were able to do that all DIY. When I'm out of college and have my own place, I would love to do something like that. When the Super Bowl rolls around, you are going to have a great place to entertain while watching it. That's a fish tank behind the bar, right? Salt water or fresh water?

I got it finished just in time for the super bowl this past February...in fact, I was putting the fish in the tank behind the bar at like 2pm the afternoon of the super bowl. That's how close I was to finishing the project for the party.

It's a freshwater tank. Full of Demasoni which are a species of mbuna from Lake Malawai in Africa. I have 5 other tanks full of Lake Malawai species as well. It's the only lake in the world where the fish are found.

That is so amazing! GREAT job!!!! I like how you painted the floor joists black, that is a great look without having to sheetrock everything! The bar tap fountain was such a great idea!

Just saw the updated pics. I don't get to visit the site to often for any length of time. You ought to be proud of yourself. You did an outstanding job. I wouldn't hesitate at all to let people know I did it all myself.
I'm 4 months in my new house with a 2100 square foot unfinished basement, and will keep your enthusiasm in mind when I start to finish it.

Very nice basement and bar......
