Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Scarborough, Maine Posts: 134 | I am like white95max. I found detail city first, well i actually found autopia-carcare first of any thanks to acura-cl.com, and then finally figured out it was autopia.org! I will agree that dc may seem biased but you still find alot of discussions of products that aren't sponsors, it's true that sponsors may carry the products but from what i've read at dc you still get plenty of unbiased reviews and tricks for using certain products. Plus, like was mentioned before, you definetly find out about sales, specials, and discounts alot more from dc. I was thinking that someone should post a sticky of the discounts that being and autopian provides you with. I like this forum alot due to the fact that it has a broad spectrum of knowledge and good informational posts. I see a few that autopia and dc and i'm sure you see me, as long as you are learning or teaching i don't think that it matters! Definetly have to give props to my acrua-cl.com peeps, that's where my forum obcession began.

Have other sites that I go to to read and learn. If there is a biased review I take it in stride. A biased view is certainly not restricted to one site.
There is something about all the sites that keeps me coming back. Attention to the fine art of polishing paint is what I look for. That is why I keep coming back to this site.

A lot of on-line forums would do well to be more like Autopia. | Agree totally
I am a DC'er but not as regular as here

I occasionally look at some other detailing forums but all they do is show just how good Autopia is. This is not to say they are somehow inferior but there does seem to be a greater depth to some of the discussions here and Autopia seems to be less geocentric, which is nice for us Brits

Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 6,593 | autopia is the best car care forum i have ever visited. i've learned so much here and everyone is so helpful to lookout for one another. not to mention..... there are alot of genuinely nice people on here.
this really moved me as well.... The Autopia-Carcom store is owned and operated by The Perfect Shine, LLC, a California Limited Liability Corporation, in partnership with Autopia.org. The Perfect Shine is responsible for providing all products and services related with this website.
It's all about you and your car... and the underserved! In 2003 we moved our warehouse to ARC of San Diego (ARC), a quality-of-life center for adults with handicaps.
Having ARC provide our inventory, bottling, kit building, picking, packing and shipping services is a dream-come-true for the ARC workforce and us.
Each task, be it the simple application of a label or filling a complex order, is a worthy accomplishment for the ARC employee. The work boosts their pride and enhances their quality of life.
Our involvement with ARC is daily and intense. The investment we make in custom systems to support the underserved workforce are paying off with huge smiles and warm hellos every time we enter the facility.
When you remove the shrink wrap from your Autopia Car Care products, you'll know it was lovingly applied by someone who cares that you receive your product in perfect condition.
Care. | |
