New camera and Coast Trip = Cool pics

No car pics, but this is click and brag, so I'm braggin about my new camera.
Well I finally got me a digital camera (used my parent's before), its an Olympus SP-500UZ. Still dont know how to use all the manual settings, so all pics were taken with auto settings. I'm no photographer (brother's a lot better) but I think these are pretty cool. I took like 100 pics. We went up the CA northern coast today for my B-day and spending the night tonight (at hotel now). Way better than the snow!
Well here are some of the better pics and some that show what the cam is capable of.

Let me know what you guys think of my amature photography. I'll try to post some of my brother's later. And sorry for no car pics, but the car got very dirty on the way and I know that would have been bad to post a pic with a dirty car in it.

That should read "I'm a pro photographer". Those are beautiful pictures.

My wife and I went to Monterey for our honeymoon and the views on US 1 were something to behold. you guys have some amazing coastline. we ate at a place in Big Sur that was right on the ocean and the sunset could not have been better. sure beats the East coast by a mile. thanks for the pics, brings back some awesome memories..... I can hear the surf crashing as I think about it.

Great photos!

I live in Mendocino County and the Mendocino Coast is other great place to visit one is the town of Mendocino the "headlands" and all the way up hwy1 ten mile beach, glass beach but one of the best keep secrets is Usal and just past that is the "lost coast" and it is lost, no one goes there!

Other place in Mendocino County which is real beautiful place to go is Chamberlain Creek Waterfall:

The barbed wire is truly stark grim reality. I like that the best. For me it gave pause for thought. Thanks!
