That is actually where we planned on stopping at (Mendocino County). Didn't do much hiking though because my dad cant really do too much of that, at least not where we would be stuck.

Flatstick: My parents spent their honney moon on the coast too (up north). The northern CA coast is definetly one of my favorite places to visit, between the winedy (sp?) highway 1 and the views, plus its close to me.
CWCAD: That is one of my favorites too, a little more artsy.
Setec: Ya, I was looking for a while and finally found this one. It has 10x optical zoom, 6 megapixels, full manual controls, a big view screen, and a bunch of other stuff, all for $310! Plus I got a 512 XD memory card on sale for like $60.
