Thank you, Pat... now I have another question, though:

When I log in, I can see my thread, and your reply just fine. However, when I log out, I don't see the thread listed, and it says "invalid thread specified" if I follow the link out of my notification email. Shouldn't my thread/posts be publically viewable, just like every other member's?

I want to know what is going on here, since it seems like maybe anything I post is only viewable by moderators.... why?

I sent David B. a PM about this because I've seen a few other non-moderator members mention the same problem; but he has not at this time responded. I just want answers here from SOMEONE, and a solution to the problem....

EDIT: Now I just tried it again and it's visible..... what the heck?!
