I got a few Starbucks gift cards, so my caffeine fix will be taken care of for a little while..
so far, Super's post is the embodiment of the Christmas spirit.

For myself, between my wife her family and my family I didnt get any detailing supplies but scored:
2- Stanley wall cabinets for garage (SS doors)
Stanley floor cabinet
2- elecrtic cord reels (manual)
2- 50' electric, automatic cord reels, wall mounted
a total of about $200 in GC's for HD
$500 for Lowes for stuff for the new house (from wifes parents for both of us!!!!)
Need for speed most wanted for PS2
clothes
screw extractor set
Craftsman 3 in 1 cutter tool
Soprano's Season 5 DVD set
Wow, when I list it out I really got a lot this year (probably more than I deserved) and am very greatful for all of it! I am also greatful fro the time to spend with family and friends. And am thankful for our troops past and present who have given us these freedoms!

Hey Jason, I got a Braun Activator shaver as well for X-mas. I love it. I've had Braun shavers in the past but have been using a Philishave lately and didn't like it at all. This new Braun is awesome. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Tom | The Grados would've been my second choice, but I couldn't justify the $70 price tag with the minimal sound improvement over the AKGs.
From Amazon, I got them shipped for a total price of $43.
My next step up in sound quality would be the SR60s, but I love these cans and hopefully they're rugged enough to stand up to years of listening!
Grado sure does make killer headphones, though.
My friend(an uber-audiophile) had a pair of RS-1s, but he still wasn't perfectly happy with them!(what are they? like $700???) Anyways, now he runs some top of the line beyerdynamic phones.
I guess he spends all of his money on audio gear, while I have to split mine between school, car stuff, and audio stuff.

| I work on a hobbyist basis recording local musicians live to 2 track in hirez 24/88.2khz and our lead engineer uses RS-1s. They are very revealing and natural sounding. I spend all my money on audio when I'm not detailing. | |

And a couple detailing-related items:
- QEW (though I think it's more for everyone else here... so I'll wash their cars in the winter)
- Optimum Compound
The neighbor thought she was being funny... "I saw this and HAD to get it for you":
- "GardenPlus Flashlight Nozzle" from Lowe's - yes, a trigger sprayer nozzle with an integrated flashlight. I guess I spend too much time washing cars after sunset
