But seriously, I think the days of personal privacy are soon to be over. GM is really pushing OnStar, which I assume has the ability to track any automobile that has it installed. My truck doesn't have it, but I sometimes wonder if there isn't a transponder buried in the dash somewhere. The GPS cell phones are a nice way to track people, as are the cameras that are going up at almost every city stoplight. Oh, I almost forgot about RFID -- all it takes is a little chip in your shoes, pants, or shirt and corporations (and/or gov't) can know your whereabouts every time you pass by a reader.
