It doesn't surprise you does it? They might as well file for bankruptcy now.

Living in the world of the Big Three I have many friends in both the white and blue collar areas of the Big Three and I don't understand how they sell them.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but one looks like a Silverado tail and the other a Sierra. In my opinion, this is part of GM's problem- far too many re-badgings of synonymous products.

And the EXACT reason they don't have the number one selling truck! The F-150 is always the best selling truck but if you add up the total of Silverados and Sierras together they outsell the F-150. At least they got rid of Olds so far.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is a Silverado/Sierra thing. It gets a little confusing knowing which is which. I have a Tahoe so I know the differences from a Yukon off hand.

I somehow doubt that the lights were done like that on the lines. I'm not saying GM does good quality (I have one and know) fit and finish but two different tail lights? How does that get past all the inspections along the way to the dealership? And at the dealership?

What inspections? It rolls off of a line filled with p!ssed off workers and then onto a truck. LOL
