Best Motoring International American Togue 2

I just got back from the video shoot of Best Motoring International's American Togue 2.
Best Motoring International is a Japanese company which does "Fifth Gear" type reviews and shootouts for many popular cars.

This year's event was held at Willow Springs Raceway, and it brought privateer "tuners" from all over SoCal to have professional Japanese racers drive their cars and give them feedback and bragging rights.

About 40 cars signed up for the event, and that was whittled down to 4, which then ran a "Togue" or a race where one car "chases" the other. I can't seem to type out how it is scored, but if you have ever seen "Initial D", you will understand what i'm talking about.

What a cool event. Here are some pics from today's event:

a few of the cars:

Even though this one was sponsered by Meguiars...it needed some PC work BAD!

a friend of a friend's car:

The two professional drivers, one is the 2004 and 2005 D1 champ, and the other is Keiichi Tsuchiya, aka "The Drift King" (in the green overcoat).

oh yah...there was some cute trophy girls too....

DUB showed up with a few cars (there was one more that i didn't get):

2006 Lexus G/L/E something...ON DUBS!

All DUB cars had air suspensions, very cool to watch them get lowered after they parked.

Not bad paint...I'd hit it with some SSR1...
