Signatures for autopians.

I figured id post up a thread so see if theres any interest in having sigs. They could be of our business names or anything else. maybe something like a 500x150, i think it adds a little something to the site since most of the pages are pretty dull to begin with. Well if anyone has any comments let me hear em. Im not too sure if it will effect the way the site runs having a few sigs here and ther.

Im all for it.

Sorry, I don't think that's a good idea. I LIKE that the pages are dull, it focuses you on the content.

The same rules that apply to your posts apply to your signatures and avatars. Please keep this in mind when selecting your avatar or signature. We also ask that you please limit your signature to three lines of text and please do not use any graphics.

Stating one's business name within one's sig is OK but it must not contain a link to any website that contains commercial material--i.e. pricing or stating specifically how to obtain pricing.

The problem I have with forums with pictures allowed in the signatures is that the page load time is greatly increased. I have dial-up at home, and it's a PITA to load some of the pages on the Mazda forums, because people have these huge pictures in their sigs. So every time I view a thread, I have to load 2 dozen pictures too.

Hey I can go to school to view Click and Brag threads, or watch movies or whatever. For just checking my email and viewing other threads and stuff, dial-up isn't that bad.

Hey, I have the dial up whine for six months every year. Once you have broad band it is hard to go back.

When on dial up I cannot look at the click and brag because I just get tired of smoking a cigarette and basking in the after glo.

I am glad that the signature's are as the are even though I have broadband at the present time.

I think it would be cool, but as others have said, it can get out of hand.
