drifting info

you basically take a rwd car and enter the turn sideways. so if you making a left turn, you let you rear slide out and counter steer so the you are turning the steering wheel right...im pretty sure that how you explain it... anyways its huge in japan, a famous cartoon intial d is based on it of course taking a turn conventionally is faster and saves tires, but drifting is cool, your basically sliding through turns but in a controlled manner. its def catching on in the us, the japan teams come over and put on show, and there is a gto that is pretty famous. ..to get a better idea, go to blockbuster and rent intial d...in the anime section, part 1 horrible as it is the setup , but from 2 and on they are cool.

Anyone figure this movie isn't going to take place in the US?
That's why is is not called Fast and Furious 3 and instead Fast and Furious Toykyo Drift.

Agreed. I havent seen the first Fast and Furious all the way through, but I do have the second one on DVD though (gotta love getting gifts ). The movie sucks, but there is one scene that is kinda realistic (No, Not the jumping the car onto the boat scene ). When they are lined up and ready to race the Cuda and the Camaro, Paul Walker's character says there is no way they can win....and then they have to cheat to pull off the victory. Ofcourse they mention these huge power numbers and that eclipse hangs with them...that's a joke.

I've seen both of them and was entertained. Unfortunately the kids took it a little too serious, and as soon we left the thetres all the kids we're revving up their civics and jettas.
I really didn't like how the 2nd one was way to computer generated. Obviously the racing scenes we're fake, but they we're so comptuter generated that it almost looked like a cartoon.

Yeah, they entertained me as well. That is what movies are for.
