OK, maybe not true vintage components, but well on their way.
If the speakers are in good condition, I'm thinking this would be a great little setup for under $250. Does anyone have any comments/opinions? If I remember, the kappa 6's were great speakers back in the day...

I may at least buy the receiver. That's a pretty good deal for $90, and I have some "vintage" Polk monitor 5b's that I could hook up to it.

I would really like to run across some older Infinity's with the EMIT tweeters. I had a pair of Infinity Qbs back in the last 70s/early 80s. Only problem was the EMITs were very sensitive to clipping and the fuse didn't always save them.

I've been kind of semi-moved into a new house for the past year and doing some remodeling. After the dust settles, I'm going to get a stereo for the living room. I want something really compact because I don't want a big honking stereo cabinet in here.
Teac had a really nice little all-in-one receiver/CD player unit a while back, and a year or so ago someone was closing these out on eBay. I knew I should have bought one then, but never did and now I'm kicking myself. You can still get the Teac Reference components from Needledoctor, but I can't find the receiver/CD unit online anywhere. Teac offeres several of these all-in-one units in the UK, BTW. NAD also has a nice receiver/DVD player that's a little larger, so I may get that.
If anyone knows of any other good all-in-one receiver/DVD (or CD) units, I'd like to hear about them. I'm not looking for a micro system though, just the receiver.
