They lost. The other team has a receiver who now shares an NCAA record of 4 consecutive 1000+ yards receiving with Jerry Rice. Not sure of all the details on the record. My son's team played a great first half, up 24-14, including a blocked punt and 97 yard fumble return. Second half was ugly, 4 unanswered touchdowns.

They ended up 4-6 but 4-3 vs their conference. My son is a freshman and plays fullback and is on the kickoff return team.

Yeah, about 45 miles east of St. Louis off I-70. 790 miles one way for me, made it home in a little over 11 hours, including stops. Just a heads up, if you are traveling on I-40 just east of Little Rock, do not make the same mistake as me and stop at the McDonalds in Lonkoe. Ugh. Took nearly 20 minutes to get my food.
